How to buy tickets

TICKETS: $35*

In person
Five happy volunteers are out there delivering tickets and collecting cash and checks (which can be written to “The Greatest Gift Foundation”).  To hook up with one of them to make the exchange in person, just shoot an email to greatestgiftfoundation@gmail.com, and put “TICKET REQUEST” in the subject line.

Online
There is a “DONATE” through Google Checkout button at the bottom of the CONTRIBUTE page of our primary Web site.   Make a donation via credit card there, and then email us with your name and the number of tickets you’re reserving.  We can mail them to you, or hold them for you at the door.

At the door
It helps us immensely if you reserve tickets in advance, even if you want to pay for them at the door.  Contact Becky Waller at greatestgiftfoundation@gmail.com with your name and the number of tickets, and we’ll set some aside for you!

But even if you don’t reserve in advance, we’ll gladly sell you tickets at the door!

* Food. Drinks. Door prizes. A $15 tax deduction.

As you shake off winter’s cold in the warm Jingle Jangle atmosphere, imagine yourself flying off into the sunshine of a warmer climate — with a pair of American Airlines tickets good for anywhere in the Continental U.S.!  Raffle tickets will go on sale at the door for $20 each, starting at 7 p.m., for the 9:30 drawing.  We’ll only sell 100 maximum, so the odds of winning are 1 in 100 if not better.  Our thanks go to Carlson Wagonlit Travel for donating this wonderful prize.  Need not be present at the time of drawing to win. (But it’ll be so much fun, why wouldn’t you want to be there!?)

Meanwhile, everyone who attends the Jingle Jangle is eligible to win one of several fun door prizes, like CDs, gifts, and more.  (For door prize drawings, also held at 9:30, you will need to be present to win.)

Attention, party hoppers and hip-hoppers:  This year, we’re throwing open the doors after 10:00 p.m. to anyone who just wants to dance to the mad stylings of our DJ and enjoy the fruits of our bartenders’ labor.  No ticket necessary, just a $5 cover charge!  (This does not include any drink tickets or food, and the silent auction and door prizes will be over by then.)

Not done holiday shopping?  We have terrific gifts (for yourself if not for your friends and family) at GREAT prices!  The 2008 Jingle Jangle’s silent auction opens at 7 p.m. and closes at 9:30 p.m.  Items include, just to name a few):

  • A pair of center-stage, main floor tickets to Phantom of the Opera
  • A pair of center-stage, main floor tickets to Spring Awakenings
  • A hand-made hard-wood jewelry chest with inlaid mahogany accents
  • Dinner for 8 at Stella’s Fish Cafe’s fun chef’s table
  • A wine-and-chocolate gift set, a wine-and-wine club membership gift set, and a wine-and-wine gift set
  • Holiday gift items, including a hand-carved Santa figurine (an original by Becky’s talented father!), a holiday ornaments set, a plush-and-cozy blanket/stuffed animal set, and more.
  • A packed bag of workout/fitness gear and goodies
  • Plus artwork, gift certificates to local restaurants, spas, and other businesses, stuffed “Pillow Pets,” a terrific Sorrento picnic bag, and more!

What to wear?

Ah, we get this question a lot.  Come tricked out in your best festive-wear, or come as you are in your comfy stuff.  We’ll see all kinds.  But the dress suggestion is cocktail attire – flirty dresses, nice shirts and jackets.  Still in the fog? Here’s a visual guide:
